The girls are now 2 and a half years old, the age where kids can be very picky and choose to reject many foods provided to them.  I have been lucky to have my girls accept most fruits and vegetables, and love them!  Toddler nutrition is very important since daily intake of many nutrients may not be met if your child does not eat properly.  I'm no nutrition expert and the intentions of this post is not to tell any parent how to feed their child, this post will simply give other parents an idea of what I provide to my children and how I helped them to love their fruits and vegetables. Let's be honest, after making a smoothie, there is a mess.  Who wants to make a smoothie when all you can think of is the mess to clean afterwards?  I thought the same until I realized that I could clean the blender as fast as I made the smoothie, before my first sip. What you'll need: Dish soap Water Directions:  Fill the blender about half full with water, add a few drops of dish soap.  Of course my favorite soap is Mrs. Meyers because a little goes a long way.  Close the lid tightly, and turn on!  Let the blender run until all debris has been washed down from the sides of the blender.  Rinse thoroughly.   This is a great method for a quick rinse of your blender between uses throughout the week.  Deep clean the blender after two uses.  Choosing an effective dish soap is key to making sure that all debris from the blender has been removed.  If any debris is left after the first rinse, repeat. Using three simple ingredients you can remove all of that burnt on food to get your glass stove top sparkling like new. This combination is very much like a soft scrub, save money with this simple at-home method! Ingredients: -Baking soda of any brand -Mrs. Meyers dish soap -Water Directions: In small dish or bowl, combine a small amount of baking soda and dish soap with water to form a paste.  I recommend Mrs. Meyers dish soap for it's natural properties and lovely fragrances. Using a sponge, dab the paste onto the stove top until fully covered.  Let sit and scrub clean with the sponge to reveal a sparkling shine!  Dry with a damp cloth until  all residue from the baking soda is gone.

This quick and easy Strawberry Banana Smoothie is a lifesaver for when it's time to jump right into the morning and get things done!  With twin girls that are 2 and 1/2 years old, there are many evenings that I just do not get everything cleaned, and that's okay!  We have to listen to our bodies and take a break when its just too much.  Last night after dinner I rinsed all of the dishes, wiped down the stove, prepped hubby's hot chocolate for the morning and put the girls to bed.  This smoothie allows me to quickly get back to cleaning without spending too much time preparing it. I remember while growing up of hearing the phrase "test tube baby".  This phrase was derogatory, insulting and used commonly as a joke.  Never did I think that I would need science to conceive.  Fertility, in the minds of most couples. is an intimate and private subject.  Once we began the doctor appointments and realized just how costly IVF would be for us, we decided to go public with our journey.  Crowdfunding is very common for raising funds for various things.  We created a GoFundMe page and started the Our Little Cannonball campaign.
